Today was the first production day. Athena (Miranda) and I went location hunting and we went to this really nice creek area that was public! I had a lot of other places in mind however, they either had a “WARNING: Natural gas pipe” sign or “PRIVATE PROPERTY” sign. I am going to set out another day to scope out more locations. I really enjoyed this area because the way the light came into certain places. However, I need to find a way to control the light onto Athena’s face. In some shots as you can see here, Athena’s face looks a little washed out and 2 dimensional. I may not be a DP but, I am starting to understand the importance of light. Also, I realize that you can see a weird wobbly effect, it’s due to the stabilizer plugin I used. Unfortunately I don’t have a steadicam and I am not crafty enough to make one on my own (although I might have to resort to that) I need to find a better alternative. Any suggestions? email me at imaginarythefilm@gmail.com or contact me over Facebook if you have me!
